Cheeseburgers. My one weakness. If there was a restaurant that needed testing, I’d judge it on its cheeseburger alone.
Now, cheeseburgers will never be “healthy”, but if you have to eat them, or just want a treat once in a while, here’s the easiest and simplest way to have it.
Ingredients:
– cheese (the lower in fat, the better)
– extra lean ground beef
– whole wheat tortilla wraps
Step one:
Roll the beef into a ball, then squish it into a patty.
Step two:
Fry or grill the patty until it’s almost fully cooked. (Preheat your oven to 400°F at the same time.)
Step three:
Wrap the nearly fully cooked burger patty in a tortilla with your desired amount of cheese.
Step four:
Place the wrapped patty in the oven on a baking sheet for 10 minutes.
Step five:
Remove from oven, cut in half, and enjoy.
I recommend dipping them in a fat free, sugar free sauce. You can get sugar free ketchup at Supplement King or other supplement stores.
So there you go… The healthiest way to make a burger, if you need to! They are delicious, too. Give it a go.
