In some sad news, a friend has passed away. He was a member of my soccer team, and this week he lost a very short battle with cancer. He was a year younger than me, and in incredible shape. Rodolphe (aka Roddy, aka “Rod the Bod”) will be missed.
His family needs some help getting his body back home to Benin, Africa. It’s an expensive endeavor, as you might imagine. If you could share or donate to this GoFundMe page, that would be amazing.
Rodolphe Died on tuesday June 10th at 4:00 AM at the Halifax Hospital after a short fight with cancer.
At the age of 30, he was in a great shape, always eating healthy and keeping a great active routine. Rodolphe was back home for little bit over a month to visit his family in Africa, and he felt a little bit sick, on his was back to Canada, things got little worse, once landed in Halifax he went straight to the Hospital for a check up, where they found he had Lukemia. Rodolphe was transferred to the right place to do more examination and take treatment, he told his friends and familly that he is feeling better and Doctors said that he will leave the Hospital soon.
